What to do After the No Contact Rule


You have managed to get through at least 30 days without contacting your ex and have taken all the steps of making yourself a much happier and healthier person and are wondering what you should do now because you still want your ex back and you really don’t want to lose him or her.

What you do right now can either help you get back together or it can confirm that breaking up was the right decision and you need to move on.
You need to have a positive attitude, patience, the right skills, tools and a good plan in place.

5 Steps to Take After the No Contact
First, you need to figure out and find the original connection you had that brought you both together when you first met and make sure that you are back to your old self again but the real you. 

Take Things Slow
Reach out to your ex and ask if they would like to get together for a coffee or something, but keep it light and friendly. They will be surprised to hear from you and that you sound so good. Later on you can suggest to, go out on a date. Basically start out as if you are meeting each other for the time and it was a new relationship.

Talk to Each Other
When you meet up for the first time after the no contact, show that you have control over your emotions, talk in a positive way about the reasons why you broke up and what you both can do to move forward and make things better between you. Remember do not do the blaming game, state the facts of what went wrong and move forward, leaving the past in the past.

Make a Commitment to each other
If you are sure that you both truly want to give your relationship another go and get back together again and that you both want the relationship to work this time. You both need to let each other know that you are committed and are willing to work together towards your goal.

Do Not Rush Things
Both yours and your ex wounds are not entirely healed properly, so you both need to still tread lightly which does not mean that you have to rush into moving back in together and jumping into bed, take things slow, go on dates and do things together until you both feel completely comfortable with each other again.
